SANGAM LITERATURE:
As I told you in my earlier lesson there were three Sangams and the works belonging the First Sangam were lost in time and the loan work of the Second Sangam that survived the time is Tholkaappiyam.
Therefore when I mention Sangam Literature in this Lesson it refers to the work of the Third, last, Sangam.
They are mainly two. Ettu Thogai and Pathu Paattu. in othre words The Eight Anthologies and Ten Idylls.
As the name Ettu Thogai the Eight Anthologies are:
Narrinai, KurunThogai, Pathirru Pathu, Paripaadal,Ainkuru Nuuru,Kalithogai Aha Naanuuru, Pura Nanuuru
